“This reimagined manor home struck me as a singular place, where history meets modern comfort. Suites come equipped for self-catering, though the surrounding town of Bakewell tempts with its local fare. I particularly appreciate the mix of tradition and personality, creating a stay that feels both luxurious and grounded in its Peak District setting.”

cozy suite near town
cash breakfast cozy suite convenient location nearby bus
Breakfast needed a request, payable with cash. i stayed in the attico suite. It felt cozy and accommodated two people easily. a fan kept the room cool and it had a sightseeing bus that goes directly towards chatsworth house. the location impressed me. The town center was only 5 minutes away. a bus stop was conveniently located nearby.
the bed was very uncomfortable, both had a poor nights sleep

super central location
large room comfortable bed excellent shower great location
the room was large and well heated. it also had a very comfortable bed! all the facilities were available. the en suite was a little tired though it served its purpose well with an excellent shower.
The bathroom was very cold, with only the towel rail for heating. A large fluffy rug would help i think.
Dining

the breakfast was really good. it included fresh pastries, a selection of cereals, and cooked options like eggs, bacon, and sausage. fresh juice and coffee were always available.
Service
